2024-2025 Season at AFC Stockport – Club Membership Terms & Conditions Signing On Fee There is a one-off signing on fee of £30 to join AFC Stockport, which is to be paid at time of registration. You will become a member of the club once payment has been received for signing on, the Direct Debit has been set up for monthly fees and the completion of the registration form. Players continuing from one season to the next simply need to continue paying their Direct Debit throughout the year. You only repay a signing on fee if you choose to leave the club, then return after 10 days from the original leaving date. Monthly Subs Monthly subs will be collected by Direct Debit on the 1st of every month as follows: Junior Football AFC Stockport Cubs, currently free of charge. AFC Stockport Avengers, £23 per month. Adult Football One Adult Team, £26.50 per month. Two Adult Teams, £42 per month (saving £11 per month) Three Adult Teams, £50 per month (saving of up to £29.50 per month) Four Adult Teams, £60 per month (saving of up to £46 per month) AFC Stockport uses GoCardless to collect Direct Debit payments, the transaction will appear on your bank statement as GOCARDLESS. An email notification will be sent from GoCardless approximately 2-3 days in advance. Once you have completed the Direct Debit mandate, the first monthly payment will be collected on the 1st of the following month, unless advised otherwise. Parents/Players are responsible for setting up the Direct Debit and ensuring it remains in place whilst they are members of the club. If monthly fees are not paid, or Direct Debits are cancelled, we will assume that the player has left the Club with immediate effect. If the player wishes to continue playing for the Club, there will be a £10 late payment administration fee to re activate the player’s account. If the late payment exceeds 7 days, the usual £30 signing on fee would apply. Please note that players will not be able to play or train until all outstanding fees / monthly payments have been paid. Yellow Card Fines. AFC Stockport will pay the first three Yellow Cards issued to a player, with exception of dissent, which will always be paid for by the player at a cost of £12 each. Yellow Card fines (except dissent) will be charged at £12 each and will automatically be collected by GoCardless on behalf of AFC Stockport 7-10 days after the offence – if not paid before this time. You will receive a payment notification from GoCardless via email approximately 2 days before the collection is made. Red Card Fines. Red Card fines are always the responsibility of the player, plus any additional costs as voted for by the Disciplinary Committee. The Red Card fine will automatically be collected by GoCardless on behalf of AFC Stockport 7-10 days after the offence – if not paid before this time. You will receive a payment notification from GoCardless via email approximately 2 days before the collection is made. All payment notifications will be sent from GoCardless approximately 2 days before the collection date to the email address as stated on your registration form. It is the player / parent / carer responsibility to update the Club Secretary of any changes to emails. Leaving The Club If a player wishes to leave the club at any time, all kit and equipment must be returned, and all monthly payments and fines must be paid to date. Players may leave and join another football club once de registered at AFC Stockport and the league transfer process has been completed. Under the Club and League rules, players may not register for another Football Club until they have de-registered from AFC Stockport. Returned / paid for any kit and discharged all their financial liabilities to the Club. We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behaviour in the game.
